Great North Italy is a 11-day-tour perfectly paced to enjoy and discover the beautiful North of Italy.During this marvelous vacation through the North Italy, you will visit not only the most important cities, Milan, Verona, Venice, Turin, but you will also can enjoy many picturesque villages of scenic beauty as Sirmione, Cinque Terre, Lake Como, Bellagio.
Also visit the Parmesan cheese factory, balsamic vinegar cellar, Ferrari museum, local winery and the beautiful Dolomite Montains
The North Italy is known for its “Made in Italy”; Milan fashion design, expensive car as “Ferrari”, delectable cuisines as “Parmigiano Reggiano”, fine wines as “Spumante” and a lot more. Traveling in this tour will be an unforgettable experience!
ITINERARY
Day 1 – Welcome to Milan
Welcome to Milano Malpensa int. airport (MXP). At your arrival, your tour guide and driver will be waiting for you at 10:00 am, 12:30 pm for a private transfer to your hotel. In the early afternoon meet your local guide and others tour passengers for a sightseeing tour of the city center to see the Duomo & Galleria Vittorio Emanuele before ending the day with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Hotel: Mirage, Da Vinci, Dei Cavalieri or similar (2 nights)
Day 2 – Lake Como – Bellagio
This morning, short ride to the stunningly scenic and world-famous Lake Como to explore the fashionable lakeside town of Como surrounded by snowcapped mountains and picturesque Mediterranean villas. Enjoy a breathtaking cruise along Lake Como to the village of Bellagio. Here you will have time to enjoy the village at your own pleasure. Tonight, dinner will be served in your hotel restaurant.
Day 3 – Turin
This morning we leave Lombardy region to set off to Turin, the capital city of the Piedmont region. In the afternoon, discover the city center with a local guide to see Piazza Castello, Palazzo Madama, St. Lorenzo’s Church, Palazzo Carignano and the amazing 448-foot -high Mole Antonelliana, symbol of Turin followed by some free time to spend at your own pleasure. Tonight, dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
Hotel: Pacific Fortino, Hotel Diplomatic or similar (1 night)
Day 4 – Winery – Parma
This morning leave Piedmont region to visit a winery for a tasting and a light lunch. In the afternoon we will reach Parma, the capital city of Emilia Romagna region, where you will meet with a local guide for a walking tour to see the romanesque buildings, the Teatro Regio, the magnificent Palazzo della Pilotta, and the cathedral, famous for its frescoes. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 5 – Cinque Terre
Today travel to the Liguria region on the Tyrrhenian coast for a full day excursion through famous Cinque Terre, colorful villages built on rugged, steep landscapes right up to the cliffs overlooking the sea. The unique landscapes have terraced vineyards sustained by dry walling, a perfect example of man-made countryside architecture in inaccessible surroundings. Weather permitting, you’ll travel between the villages by boat to admire Cinque Terre’s cliffs & sweeping coastal views (If rough seas prevail, you will be escorted by minibus through some villages). Tonight, dinner will be served in the hotel.
Day 6 – Parmesan Cheese Factory – Balsamic Vinegar Cellar – Ferrari Museum
The Emilia Romagna region is very well known as “The Capital of Food”. This morning, we visit with an expert one of the local “Parmigiano Reggiano” farm producers to sample this well-known cheese. For lunch, we head to Modena where we’ll also visit a local Balsamic Vinegar cellar for a tasting with a sampling of Lambrusco wine. After lunch, continue to Maranello to visit the Ferrari museum. If you so choose you may rent a Ferrari to drive (not included).
Day 7 – Borghetto sul Mincio – Verona
This morning drive to the small village of Borghetto sul Mincio to enjoy the beauty of its lovely watermills. In the afternoon, reach Romeo & Juliet’s town of Verona where our local guide takes you to visit one of the most powerful cities during the early rule of the Roman Empire which overlooks the ancient amphitheater ‘Arena’ built by the Romans. It remains one of the most well-preserved ruins in the country. At the end of the walking tour dinner will be served at one of the local restaurants.

Day 8 – Sirmione – Lake Garda – Dolomite Mountains
Today visit the small village of Sirmione on the Lake Garda, to enjoy the beauty of its lovely views and shops at your pleasure. In the afternoon drive to the beautiful Dolomite Mountains. Dinner will be served at local restaurant.
Hotel: Belvedere, Ancora, Cristallino D’Ampezzo or similar (2 nights)
Day 9 – Dolomite Mountains
Today, excursion to enjoy breath-taking views of the most majestic mountains, lakes, & valleys that the Dolomites have to offer. In the afternoon enjoy the beautiful villages at your own pleasure before returning to your hotel. Tonight, dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
Day 10 – Venice – Glass factory
No tour of Northern Italy would be completed without a visit to Venice, of course. A powerful magnet for all art lovers, romantics, fans of architecture, & history buffs from around the globe, you will enjoy a private walking tour through the ancient city with a visit of a local glass factory followed by time to explore on your own and browse through the shops or ride a gondola. Tonight, dinner will be served in the hotel restaurant.

Day 11 – Leaving for home
Arrivederci Great North Italy! Our free airport transfers arrives to Venice International Airport (VCE) at 7:00 am and 9:00 am
