Erice is really a jewel, one of the many in Sicily. From its 750 meters of altitude, it watches over Trapani and releases a medieval charm. Erice was inhabited by Phoenicians, Normans, Arabs, Romans and their passage is visible on the buildings and monuments that fill the village. Walking through narrow streets and admiring the view of the sea from above you can enjoy its ancient flavor of the past.
