Wonderful tripfrom ItalyAugust 9, 2024What a wonderful trip to Italy! Thank you Great Tours of Italy. The hotels were very comfortable and accommodating. Our bus driver was professional and very friendly - really in tune with the needs of his passengers. Our tour guide, Elisa, was absolutely amazing. She brought humor, professionalism, and lots of local flavor which so enhanced our experience throughout our journey. We have so many wonderful memories of Rome, Florence, Venice, Capri and the many side trips - it's hard for us to pick a favorite. We highly recommend Great Tours of Italy - Not anymore big group tour.

All inclusive tourfrom ItalyJune 4, 2023I usually don’t post reviews but my Great Tours of Italy trip in April 2019 was so well organized and enjoyable that I decided I would post about it! Our guide Roberta handled everything! Our hotels were great. All of the food was excellent, especially the dinners in small restaurants. And the local guides at the Vatican and in Florence really exhibited how well they understood and loved the sights that they were showing us. I have to admit that I was not looking forward to traveling by bus but with the exception of one side trip, the buses were comfortable and pleasant. We chose Great Tours of Italy because we were looking for all inclusive tour. I was delighted with the choice and all the inclusions were perfect selected!

Amazing tripfrom ItalyMay 24, 2023We had an amazing trip to Italy on Bella Italia Tour! Our Tour Director was excellent! He was helpful, knowledgeable and fun. We had a great group of people to travel with and perfect weather. The destinations we visited were beautiful historic, and unforgettable. My favorites were Venice and Capri, the hillsides of Tuscany, and the view from our hotel in Vietri. We highly recommend this tour!

Good jobfrom ItalyMay 10, 2023Great Tours of Italy did a good job. Our guide Elisa was the best, also entertaining. Simone our bus drive was awesome. I don’t know how he can drive a bus on those small roads. Italy is beautiful, the food and people are great. Our guide somehow made everyone feel like a family after the 1st night. We thought this was the trip of a lifetime, but we are already thinking of going back.

Thank you!from ItalyApril 11, 2023My family and I had an incredible trip to Italy this past spring with Great Tours of Italy! Our tour leader, Elisa, made our trip unforgettable. She educated us on so many customs, historical moments and always had great recommendations for food! Our bus driver, Mirko, was a true superstar navigating the narrow roads and we looked forward to seeing him on travel days! Great Tours of Italy does a fantastic job jam packing your days so you get the absolute most out of each day while allowing you plenty of free time to explore! My family and I had the most amazing trip and we have Great Tours of Italy to thank!

Visit Italy!from ItalyJune 4, 2019We just returned from our 1st tour of Italy. It was a 13 days Bella Italia tour. We wanted to visit Italy and needed a tour where someone could translate the Italian language if necessary, as well as a tour that would provide us with interesting as well as beautiful and cultural venues. We chose Great Tours of Italy because of our familiarity with their friends advertisements doing these tours of Italy over the years. The itinerary was fantastic and the Tour Leader, as well as all the Tour Guides, were truly outstanding. Every detail of our tour was perfect from the very beginning to the very end. The bus transportation traveling through Italy was top notch, as was the bus driver, who got us through some pretty narrow places with complete safety. The hotels, as well as the food & meal choices, were all top notch. The cities & places we visited were awesome as well. We were just so very impressed by the whole Great Tours of Italy italian tour operator.

Family reunionfrom ItalyMay 7, 2019My parents, sister, and I just got back from the 13 daysBella Italia Tour, and it was amazing. While it did get quite tiring with a busy tour schedule, summer heat, and crowds, it was a trip of a lifetime. From our airport transfers, hotel reservations, included tours and much more. I would highly recommend Great Tours of Italy to anyone. Our tour leader, Elisa, was absolutely amazing. I was very sad when we had to say goodbye to her (and to the other 10+ members of our tour group). She was so kind and thoughtful. She was very careful to make sure everyone knew the schedule. She gave good recommendations and had answers to any question. The bus that we traveled through Italy with was very comfortable and well-kept. On this tour, we went from Rome, Venice to Florence and Amalfi, and the travel between each place and hotel was so easy and organized. The hotels were all so nice. Again, issues were rare and usually minor, but if we had any at the hotel, the hotel addressed it quickly. All the local tour guides spoke great English and were very knowledgable. Whether it was the Vatican or Pompeii or seeing the David, being a part of the tour group was great because we rarely had to wait in line despite the large crowds of people. That was great. I hope I can do another Great Tours of Italy tour one day. Thanks so much. If you're looking for a trip of a lifetime, I highly, highly recommend you check Bella Italia tour!

Awsome tourfrom ItalyApril 23, 2019Awesome tour. They took care of everything-luggage,transfers,hotels,tours, breakfast and excellent lunches and dinners. When we were on our own our guide Roberta provided excellent suggestions. We don’t have any allergies or food issues but a few in our group did and Roberta made sure they received the correct meal. She has the best personality for the job keeping everyone informed along the way and always with a smile. The tours were excellent. The guides we had were very knowledgeable and fun and we learned a lot. Our bus driver was excellent too. We have recommended Great Tours of Italy to our family and friends. My one cousin booked her tour for March 2020 and my other cousin is looking into a multi city tour of Italy with Perillo. They have been in business a long time and really have the best people guiding their tours

Best vacationfrom ItalyApril 23, 2019Just got back from our vacation with GTI, our trip was April 23-May 5 2019. We had the best vacation ever 2 weeks on the Bela Italia tour. Going there we felt very informed with what to expect what to bring. In our group there were 8 people, over the 2 weeks we saw more than I could have ever planned to see if we had been on our own. Our local guides that showed us around were very knowledgeable about everything the area had to offer. The hotels were all top notch, and the food was amazing. This was a great value for what we did and saw, there is no way we could have seen and done all this for the amount we spent! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Perfect planned tourfrom ItalyJune 19, 2018Dave and Laura. We went on the Bella Italia Great Tours of Italy tour a week ago. Everything was handled seamlessly from beginning to end. We couldn’t possibly have done on our own. Every day was filled with fun. They got us into the Colosseum. They got us into the forum. they got us into the Vatican. They even got us into the blue grotto, which is almost impossible. Ferries were booked and we were led on. we had to think of nothing but showing up. Everything was done. I can’t say enough about how well planned everything was. In addition the local guides were outstanding. Walking encyclopedias. Without them, I would not have even known what I was looking at. All in all highly recommended. Great job great memories and I can’t wait until the next one Great Tours of Italy tour.

G.T.I. Tourfrom ItalyMay 8, 2018I just got back from the Bella Italia tour by GTI. It was fantastic. There were only 8 of us plus Simone, the driver. We had breakfast and almost all dinners included. We had local guides in all the right places--Rome, Venice, Florence, etc. It really was wonderful and I highly recommend it.

5 stars!from ItalyJune 13, 2017We took the Bella Italia in early June and it was beyond fantastic. Roberta was so helpful and knowledgeable tour guide. The food and restaurants were 5 star all the way. The hotels were incredible and the tours themselves were beyond words. It was the experience of a lifetime. We were able to go to places that we probably would not have access to without Great Tours of Italy! Thank you all for such a wonderful trip. It was so fantastic that I do not know how to top the experience.
