A tour of Southern Italy means a vacation with sun and sea, traditional specialties such seafood and fresh mozzarella cheese and of course pasta and local wine. For most travelers in Italy, Rome is the farthest south they will travel. On this tour we start from Rome and travel southward. The south, is a land of extraordinary colors and wonderful variety. The towns are rich with architectural and historical artifacts – Romanesque, Baroque, churches, cathedrals, castles and towers.

The “Sunny Skies of Italy” tour is a 9-day tour designed to discover the wonders of the southern regions with the comfort of a standard touring circuit but in more rarely seen geographical areas. During this marvelous vacation through the south of Italy, you will visit not only the most important cities of the south – RomeNaples, Sorrento and Lecce – but you will also have the opportunity to enjoy many picturesque towns of   scenic beauty as the Amalfi Coast, Paestum, Alberobello, Matera, the Salento province and the Roman Castles. Some of these cities are part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value (whc.unesco.org).
